Trump Admin. FY26 Budget Proposal Includes 5.8% Transp. Programs Increase 

Last week, the Trump Administration released it's initial FY26 budget proposal to Congress (see details here, with transportation items on pages 24-25), which includes a 5.6% increase in U.S. DOT programs over FY25 funding levels, generally in keeping with authorized levels under the IIJA. SWTA will continue to monitor developments on the FY26 budget, along with the forthcoming reauthorization of the IIJA.
