Cache Valley Transit rebrands, now Connect Public Transit
According to Connect’s new website, rideconnectutah.gov, the change is limited to branding and will not affect any of the transit district’s services. There is still zero fare.
In the announcement, the transit district said while its name has changed, the mission remains the same.
“As an organization we strive to deliver safe and reliable public transit services, support efforts to improve air quality, offer innovative services that reduce dependency on automobiles and provide progressive leadership for those with transportation needs.”

City of Albuquerque Improving Transit Safety Efforts

The city of Albuquerque, N.M., is cracking down its efforts on criminal behavior, including enforcing updated Rules to Ride, ramping up security and having Police Service Aides (PSA) on city buses in areas with higher incident concentrations.
“Bad and criminal behavior will not be tolerated on our buses,” said Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller. “We are fighting to bring back a transit system we can feel comfortable with our loved ones riding on.” Read More
