Christina Villarreal, Executive Director of Latinos In Transit (LIT) brings a rich background entrenched in the nonprofit sector, Christina has been at the helm of LIT since 2022, steering its mission with passion and purpose.

Armed with dual Master's degrees in Public Administration and Human Services, Christina brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Her extensive experience spans across various communities at local, regional, and national levels, where she has played pivotal roles in advocating for Hispanic and Latino heritage, shaping public policy, and contributing to urban, recreational, and transportation planning initiatives.

As a visionary leader, Christina's commitment to empowering Latino communities and advancing equitable transportation solutions is unwavering. Through her leadership, LIT continues to make strides in fostering inclusivity and representation within the transit industry.

Herold Humphrey is an accomplished transit executive with over 35 years of experience. With a proven record of operations management, including maintenance, he has consistently strived to deliver outstanding service across various transit modes. Herold excels in efficient resource utilization and is a strong leader known for his talent in recruiting, mentoring, and developing personnel to maximize employee productivity.

Currently serving as a Senior Transit Operations Specialist at Jacobs, Herold provides guidance to consultants, collaborates with clients to address transit challenges, and contributes to regional, and national opportunities.

Herold has experience both in the public and private sectors, his previous roles include Deputy Chief of Bus Operations at Metro Atlanta Regional Transit Authority (MARTA), Vice President of Bus Operations for DART (Dallas), and held various roles, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, ensuring performance and reliability of transportation, and managing contracts across multiple states.

Herold's extensive career is marked by strong leadership, strategic planning, policy administration, project management, improving operations efficiencies, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and employee engagement. He is actively involved in professional associations such as Latinos In Transit where he was elected to serve as President effective January 1, and APTA where he recently served as the Chairman of the Bus Operations Committee.  He was congressionally recognized for community service in 2013 and has a history of making substantial contributions to the transit industry.

Rick Ramirez Diaz is a dedicated member of Latinos In Transit and serves as the Director of Executive Recruitment and Business Development at Keolis America Inc. With over two decades of experience, Rick is a purpose-driven leader in Talent Acquisition, renowned for his strategic prowess in building recruitment teams, implementing innovative strategies, and fostering partnerships with stakeholders, senior leaders, community members, and government officials.

Throughout his career, Rick has spearheaded initiatives to enhance corporate culture, attract top-tier talent, and forge robust networks. His exceptional business acumen and commitment to collaboration have facilitated transformative changes within organizations, driving increased profitability and diversity.

● Leadership of the North American Talent Acquisition team, steering goal-setting and strategy implementation to fortify and diversify the talent pool.
