We're bringing the energy of rock and roll together with the power of public transit for four days of dynamic education, industry connections, innovative solutions, and unforgettable experiences.

ROCK THE RIDE 2027 will bring together transit leaders, agency executives, operators, planners, policymakers, industry partners, and transportation professionals from across SWTA's eight-state region and beyond to exchange ideas, tackle challenges, and explore what's next for mobility.

 Education That Moves Transit Forward

From federal funding and transportation policy to workforce development, emerging technologies, fleet management, safety, rural and Tribal transit, and community engagement, the conference will offer a wide range of educational opportunities designed to strengthen transit systems of every size.

 Where Transit Takes Center Stage

This year, we're turning up the excitement with a conference experience inspired by the legendary music atmosphere of Hard Rock Tulsa and the energy of Oklahoma's winter season.

The conference kicks off Tuesday evening with a welcome reception, followed by educational programming, general sessions, and the opening of the EXPO on Wednesday.

Thursday brings additional learning opportunities, dedicated EXPO time, and the return of one of SWTA's favorite traditions:

SWTA AFTER DARK — The Annual SWTA Outing!

An opportunity to step away from conference sessions, experience the host destination, and connect with fellow transit professionals in a fun, relaxed setting.

We'll wrap up Friday with additional educational sessions, SWTA's annual business meeting, industry recognition and awards, and closing activities.
