Founded in 2017, BluWave-ai is building the world's premier transport electrification and renewable energy AI company headquartered here in Canada’s capital of Ottawa. We are focused on driving the proliferation of renewable energy and electric transportation worldwide with SaaS based AI solutions. Our products optimize in real-time different energy sources, both renewable and non-renewable. This lets our customers – fleet operators, corporations, and utilities – improve their energy decisions for sustainability and costs. BluWave-ai has raised over $16M to date inclusive of a Series A round lead by Ontario Power Generation's Fleet Electrification subsidiary PowerON Energy Solutions and non-dilutive funding in its seed round from Sustainable Development Technologies Canada.

BluWave-ai formed in 2017 around the idea of bringing innovations in artificial Intelligence, edge computing, and cloud-based super-computing to the world of distributed renewable energy. The goal of BluWave-ai is to drive the transition from a centralized, carbon-based energy model to the point where clean energy can be produced and efficiently consumed by almost anyone, anywhere, aided by advanced real-time computing to optimize its generation and use.

We work with electricity utilities, enterprises, vehicle fleet operators, grid-connected enterprises  large campuses, government operations, net zero communities, and remote/off-grid clients around the globe to make their hardware investments smarter with our AI-enabled SaaS software. We are improving the efficiency of renewable energy use by 10-20 percent.
