The company, which is based in Heidenheim, Germany, is a spin-off of parts of the drive systems division of international technology group Voith. All Driventic’s products, systems and digital services are technological refinements and advancements of Voith solutions.

January 1, 2024 The Commercial Vehicle group steps out of the Mobility Division (CV, Rail & Marine) of Voith Turbo to become a standalone division, strengthening our entrepreneurial focus. November 1, 2025 Commercial Vehicles is established as an independent company—legally, organizationally, and operationally—under the name Driventic GmbH. In North America, the company operates as Driventic LLC, headquartered in York, PA.
