The full hourly range for the position is ($19.47-$29.21) with an anticipated starting hourly rate between entry ($19.47) and midpoint ($24.34) of the range. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Pressure Washer (Facilities Cleaning) to join our Facilities Maintenance team. This position will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various properties including station platforms, sidewalks, parking lots, industrial equipment, vehicles and facility building exteriors, walls, roofs, ensuring a pleasant experience to our riders. This position requires technical proficiency in operating pressure washing equipment, attention to detail, and a strong adherence to safety practices.

Utilizes high-pressure washing equipment to clean and maintain a variety of surfaces such as station platforms, sidewalks, parking lots, industrial equipment, vehicles and facility building exteriors, walls, roofs; performs various cleaning services to include trash pick/up removal, facilities cleaning, equipment/component cleaning, vehicle cleaning, special event coverage and cleaning of bloodborne pathogens, drug paraphernalia, and sharp objects.
Treats stained areas with chemical degreaser prior to washing; applies detergent safely as needed.
Paints walls to remove graffiti.
Operates and maintains the company-provided hot water pressure washer and Agency vehicles.
Orders and maintains a stock of pretreatment chemicals; installs normal wear parts that keep washing equipment operable; loads and unloads equipment from Agency vehicles; checks the equipment is in good working order and has an adequate water supply.
Prepares job sites by securing work areas, setting up equipment, and removing any potential hazards; clears the job site and stores all hoses and equipment correctly.
Inspects completed work to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and meets Agency standards.
Provides reports to supervisor indicating work performed, challenges, recommendations and action items.
Reads, understands, and executes Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
Follows all safety protocols to prevent damage or injury.
Manages job details, reviews daily tasks, and follows up with supervisor or designee.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Knowledge of:
Safe operation of high-pressure and hot water washing equipment.
Proper use of cleaning chemicals, including hazardous materials protocols.
Safety practices, hazard recognition, and use of personal protective equipment.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and reporting.
Basic maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
