Description

KCATA seeks to upgrade Real-Time Arrival Signs (RTAS) along the Prospect Avenue MAX BRT Route at select locations. KCATA intends to acquire 24 Real-Time Arrival Signs and Mounting Posts for this acquisition. 10-12 of the RTAS and Mounting Posts will be furnished to a contractor for installation in 2026 and 12 RTAS and posts will be installed later at the 75th Street Transit Center and the East Village Transit Center as replacements of the original electronic signs.

In addition to Prospect MAX, KCATA is going to acquire 15 Real Time Arrival Signs (RTAS) and Mounting Posts to provide to the Unified Government for installation on State Avenue Corridor from 29th Street to KC Sporting Park in the Legends. Bidders are encouraged, not mandated, to attend a virtual pre-bid proposal on April 10, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m. central time zone.
