Valley Metro requests interested parties to submit Proposals for Renewable Natural Gas Credits (Revenue).

Project Overview: Valley Metro is soliciting sealed offers for a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Revenue Contract to replace fossil-derived CNG with RNG and reduce greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining reliable transit operations. The Agency seeks to partner with a qualified RNG broker to supply RNG and manage the generation, verification, and monetization of renewable fuel credits under federal programs through a shared-earned credit arrangement that helps offset fuel costs and supports Valley Metro’s sustainability goals.

Proposal Date/Time:

Tuesday,  February 10, 2026, by 3:00 P.M. MST. Proposals received after the specified time will not be accepted.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) documents are available or will be available on or about Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Interested firms may download the RFP documents at Valley Metro’s E-Procurement Website: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/valleymetro. A login will be required to 

submit a response.

Questions regarding this solicitation may be submitted via Valley Metro’s E-Procurement Website, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/valleymetro by selecting the clarification tab. Questions will be answered through the E-Procurement Website and are due no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the specified due date and time.

Valley Metro reserves the right to cancel this solicitation or reject any and all Proposals.
