Description: The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) hereby requests proposals for the supply of 30-foot, 35-foot and 40-foot diesel, CNG, hybrid and electric, twelve-year, heavy duty, low-floor transit buses. Only certified Transit Vehicle Manufacturers (TVMs) that meet all requirements mandated by the U. S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will be considered for award. The Contractor(s) shall comply with all applicable Federal, state and local regulations. The buses shall meet all applicable FMVSS and shall accommodate all applicable FMCSR regulations in effect at the date of manufacture.
