Are you passionate about making transit, cycling, and walking more viable transportation options in Texas?  TxDOT’s Public Transportation Division’s (PTN) Planning & Program Development Section works collaboratively across the state with internal and external partners to advance multimodal policies and programs.  We are looking for two dynamic, self-motivated planners to take a lead role in various statewide and regional multimodal planning efforts, including TxDOT district (multi-county) bicycle plans and transit planning efforts.  Each position will act as project lead for one or more planning studies, providing direction to a team of consultants and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.  The top candidates must have strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills, sharp analytical skills, and good interpersonal skills. Transit planning experience is a plus.  Depending on qualifications, the positions may be classified as Planner III, IV, or V.
