MARCH 11, 2024 – The Southwest Transit Association (SWTA) is delighted to announce the winner of the SWTA Next Gen Logo Contest, which invited graphic designers from across the region to submit their innovative designs for the SWTA Next Gen committee.

After careful consideration and deliberation by our esteemed panel of judges, Shaylee Patterson's design stood out for its creativity, relevance, and professional execution. Shaylee Patterson, a talented graphic designer based out of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Marketing Specialist for the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority (CCRTA), emerged as the winner of the contest.

Shaylee Patterson recently graduated from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design in May 2023. Her journey into the professional world began with CCRTA in June of 2023. With a passion for transforming the transit industry through branding, illustration, and creative solutions, Shaylee's expertise promises to invigorate the SWTA Next Gen committee's branding efforts.
