New Orleans RTA Releases Update to Strategic Mobility Plan
NEW ORLEANS – Today, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority is inviting riders and other community stakeholders to provide feedback on the proposed updates to the Strategic Mobility Plan (SMP). The SMP articulates the vision for the future of the RTA and reflects the priorities collected from the community through the SMP planning process.
The proposed updates remain grounded in the community input provided in the 2017 planning process but refresh the plan to reflect recent changes in RTA’s operating context.
Learn more about the project here, where you can read the entire plan, and fill out the feedback form. Feedback will be integrated and included in an appendix to the updated plan. The public comment period is open March 31 to April 21. There will also be an open house scheduled soon.
For any questions or concerns, reach out by emailing outreach@norta.com.
