SWTA Announces Logo Design Contest



We're excited to announce the SWTA Next Gen Logo Design Contest.  This is your chance to showcase your creativity and contribute to the updated branding of the South West Transit Association. We're looking for a logo that reflects our values of community, innovation, and growth in the transit sector. 

 

Contest Details 

 

Eligibility 

- Open to all SWTA members in good standing. 

- Each member can submit up to two designs. 

 

 Logo Requirements 

Must include the acronym SWTA 

Must include NEXT GEN 

 

File Formats 

- Submit in both .JPEG and .EPS formats. 

- Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI for JPEG files. 

- Vector file for EPS format. 

 

 Brand Standards 

- The logo should be legible and clear in large and small sizes. 

- It should be effective in color and black and white (reverse). 

- Scalability: Must maintain integrity when scaled up or down.  

 

Entry Rules 

- Submissions must be sent by January 15, 2024. 

- Late submissions will not be considered. Submissions emailed after 11:59 PM CST on 1/15/24 will not be considered. 

- By entering the contest, participants agree that SWTA has the right to use the winning logo in all promotional materials. 

 

Submission Details 

- Email your designs to Alex Aitken, aaitken@swta.org 

- Include your full name, Agency, Social media handles, and contact information in the email. 

The subject line of the email should be: "SWTA Logo Design Contest Entry". 

 

Judging and Prizes 

- A panel of SWTA board members will judge the entries. 

- Criteria: Creativity, relevance to theme, visual appeal, and adaptability. 

- Winner Announcement: February 7, 2024 at the 2024 SWTA Annual Conference

Intellectual Property 

- All submitted work must be the original work of the entrant. 

- The winning logo will become the property of the South West Transit Association.
