Congress Ensures Robust Public Transportation Funding
The Hill reports that the House of Representatives passed the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2014 on June 6. Included was an amendment that would ensure at least $97.5 million for public transportation security grants in FY2014 that will address much needed capital transit security improvements.
