The South West Transit Association is proud to welcome the Community Transit Insurance Program (CTIP) as the Official Lanyard Sponsor of the 2026 SWTA Leadership Lab in Breckenridge, Colorado.

From the moment attendees arrive and pick up their credentials, CTIP will be part of the Leadership Lab experience—and SWTA is grateful for their investment in the transit professionals coming together to learn, lead, connect and move our industry forward.

Insurance Designed Specifically for Public Transit

Community Transit Insurance Program is a national insurance program created for public transit agencies and nonprofit transit providers, offering multiple coverage structures and program options designed around the unique risks and operational needs of public transportation systems.

CTIP is managed by INSURICA Program Managers and includes a nonprofit Risk Purchasing Group structure created specifically for public transit agencies and nonprofit transit providers. The program focuses on long-term stability, safety, claims performance, risk management and cost control.

Its services and program options include primary and excess liability coverage, specialized claims handling, loss control and risk management support. CTIP also provides alternative program options for agencies that may not currently meet its Risk Purchasing Group underwriting criteria, with an emphasis on helping those organizations strengthen safety, claims performance and risk controls.

That transit-specific focus makes CTIP a natural partner for an event centered on strengthening the people and organizations responsible for moving communities every day.

Supporting Leadership Across the Transit Industry

The 2026 SWTA Leadership Lab brings together transit professionals, industry partners and leaders for two days of professional development, practical education and collaboration in Breckenridge.

CTIP's support as the Lanyard Sponsor helps SWTA deliver that experience while also demonstrating the important role industry partners play within the SWTA network.
