The Southwest Transit Association will host its Awards Gala on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in West Ballroom B/C as part of the SWTA + New Mexico Joint Annual Conference & EXPO presented by Model 1 Commercial Vehicles in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The evening will begin with a Welcome Reception from 6:00–6:45 PM, followed by the Gala Dinner and Awards Program from 6:45–9:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to dress in formal attire for this elevated celebration honoring the accomplishments of transit agencies and leaders throughout the SWTA Nation.

The program will feature a welcome from sponsor Huitt Zollars, SWTA Nation Wins with state updates and certificates of celebration, NMDOT State Awards, the 37th Annual SWTA Spotlight Awards, retiring remarks from SWTA President Kendra McGeady, and recognition of retiring board members along with the introduction of new board leadership.

The SWTA Awards Gala serves as a highlight of the annual conference, recognizing excellence and leadership in public transportation across the region.
