PANTOGRAPH COLLISION DETECTION SYSTEM

Valley Metro requests interested parties to submit Bids for Pantograph Collision Detection System.

Project Overview: Valley Metro is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors to install a pantograph collision detection system on four (4) of the Agency’s rail vehicles and two (2) of the Agency’s street cars.

Pre-Bid Conference:

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. MST (Phoenix local time) 605 S. 48^th Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85034.

Bid Due Date/Time:

Friday, August 22, 2025, by 3:00 P.M. MST (Phoenix local time). Bids received after the specified time will not be accepted.

The Invitation for Bid (IFB) documents are available or will be available on or about Thursday, July 31, 2025. Interested firms may download the IFB documents at Valley Metro’s E-Procurement Website: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/valleymetro. A login will be required to submit a response.

Questions regarding this solicitation may be submitted via Valley Metro’s E-Procurement Website,  by selecting the clarification tab. Questions will be answered through the E-Procurement Website and are due no less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the specified due date and time.

Valley Metro reserves the right to cancel this solicitation or reject any and all Bids.
