The South West Transit Association (SWTA) is seeking proposals from destinations interested in hosting the 2027 SWTA Annual Conference & EXPO, one of the premier public transportation and mobility conferences in the Southwest United States.

SWTA invites Convention & Visitors Bureaus (CVBs), Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), tourism authorities, convention centers, conference hotels, resorts, and hospitality partners to submit proposals for consideration as the host destination for this flagship event.

The conference attracts approximately 500+ attendees and brings together public transportation professionals, mobility leaders, state and federal agencies, tribal transit providers, consultants, manufacturers, technology companies, and industry stakeholders from across the country.

The selected host destination will provide meeting and expo facilities, hotel accommodations, transportation accessibility, and opportunities to showcase local transit, mobility, tourism, and community assets. Preference will be given to destinations that offer strong air service, convention infrastructure, walkable entertainment districts, public transportation access, and competitive support packages.

Proposals are due by July 7, 2026 for the annual conference scheduled in February 2027.
