SWTA Learning Series Webinar Draws Strong Attendance and Industry Engagement

Thank you to everyone who joined the South West Transit Association (SWTA) and ELERTS for our recent Reducing Transit Worker Assaults: Proven Strategies from Transit Agencies Across America webinar. The session brought together transit professionals from agencies across the country for an engaging discussion on improving operator safety, strengthening incident reporting, and building a culture of safety within public transportation.

A special thank you to our outstanding speakers— Bobby Sisneros, Curtis Boyd, Andrew Cassidy, Ed English, and our moderator Heather Dalmolin —for sharing their expertise, real-world experiences, and practical strategies that attendees can apply within their own organizations.

If you were unable to attend or would like to revisit the discussion, the webinar recording is now available on the SWTA YouTube Channel.

A Special Message from Executive Director Heather Dalmolin

SWTA is entering an exciting new chapter, and we invite you to hear directly from Executive Director Heather Dalmolin. In her first official message to our members, Heather shares her vision for the future of SWTA, the importance of advocacy and collaboration, and the opportunities ahead for public transit across our region. It's an inspiring look at where we're headed as an association—and how, together, we'll continue moving public transit forward.
